Brow Lift and Forehead Lift

Brow Lift

A Brow Lift is a plastic surgery procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes by raising your eyebrows to a higher and more aesthetic position. It will also improve lateral hoods (which are the droopy flaps of skin that hang over the outside corner of your eyes)

A brow lift can also improve baggy eyelids or crow´s feet. These conditions are addressed in conjunction with a blepharoplasty or along with Botox ® applications.

Forehead Lift

In a forehead lift, the muscles and tissues that cause the furrowing or drooping are repositioned to smooth the forehead, raise the eyebrows and minimize frown lines.

In most of the cases is possible to perform an Endo- Forehead with the use of an endoscope (Endoscopic Forehead Lift), a viewing instrument that allows the procedure to be performed with minimal incisions and fast recovery.

In older patients with severe forehead ptosis, the plastic surgeon may use a coronal incision approach, in which the incision is hidden behind the hairline.

Both techniques pursuit similar results; smoother forehead skin and a more animated appearance.

The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired. Plastic surgery of your forehead will also soften your horizontal forehead wrinkles and the scowl lines between your eyebrows.

How much does a bow lift cost in Argentina?

In general, you should expect to pay two or three times less than in the United States or Europe for a brow lift that meets the same high standards of safety and efficacy.

The Best Candidates For a Forehead Lift and Brow Lift

An Endo- Forehead Lift is most commonly performed in the late 30´s and 40-60 age range to minimize the visible effects of aging through minimal scars.

However, it can also help people of any age who:

  • Have developed furrows or frown lines due to stress or muscle activity
  • Individuals with heavy brow or furrowed lines above the nose can achieve a more alert and refreshed look with this procedure
  • If you have mild to moderate brow ptosis and horizontal wrinkles, an Endo- Forehead Lift may be the better choice

A Forehead lift is often performed in conjunction with a facelift and/or blepharoplasty to provide a smoother overall look to the face, especially if a patient has significant skin overhang in the upper eyelids.

Sometimes, patients who believe they need upper eyelid surgery find that a forehead lift better meets their surgical goals.

Patients who are bald, who have a receding hairline, or who have had previous upper eyelid plastic surgery may still be good candidates for endo- forehead lift. The plastic surgeon will simply alter the incision location or perform a more conservative operation; via an endoscopic approach.
